Welcome This is our story

Rooted in Brittany, France, and refined in Key West, La Creperie & Bakery brings generations of artisan baking to Fort Collins. Founded in 2009 by Jean Claude Lucas, our family-owned bakery is known for authentic French crepes, galettes, and pastries—crafted fresh, without preservatives, the old-fashioned way. Today, siblings Matilda and Enzo carry on the legacy with heart, quality, and hospitality at the core of everything we do.

  • “Not only was our server kind, his recommendations were exceptional. Both the rooster and mascarpone crepes were delicious. If you don’t particularly like overpowering flavors the rooster hits the savory side perfectly! The hot chocolate was extremely creamy due to the heavy crème and was perfect on a cold winters day!” – Taka

  • “This is my favorite breakfast spot in Fort Collins. Delicious food and fantastic coffee! Service is always very friendly. Good place to bring kids too. My kids loved the Nutella crepe and the banana and strawberry one too. I added scrambled eggs to a vegetarian option and it was delicious!” – Stacey G.

  • “I’ve been driving by this place for years not realizing the fantastic place it is. Today I stopped and I’m so glad I did! It’s a wonderful restaurant with a French flair. You’ll feel like you’ve gone to France! The food is excellent (I highly recommend the “Rooster”) and their pastry selections are amazing. And the staff is fun, knowledgeable and attentive. I’m a new fan. You will be too!” – David B.

  • “I just keep coming back to La Creperie because it’s such a happy little place and the food is always a treat. Sometimes I enjoy stopping in just to browse their case of the best pastries in town and choose one to enjoy with a latte. Other times I go big and order a savory breakfast like the smoked sausage galette with 2 eggs on top, or a delicious cocotte, and then finish with a sweet crepe for dessert. Their homemade whipped cream and use of high quality ingredients, such as very nice fruit are just a few of the details that make this place near and dear to me.”  – Corey I.

  • “I’m almost afraid to leave a good review because it will be harder to find a table! It’s amazing. I was surprised to find an authentic French bistro on the front range of the Rockies but it’s true. This place is legit. The food is spectacular. Your mouth will be watering as you take in the aroma while waiting to be seated. The pastries are divine, and the Kouign Amann is a must try! I’d actually fly to CO from Paris for this pastry, it’s that good.” – Nancy S.
